A Western Australian man found with hashish-filled condoms in his stomach in Thailand almost two weeks ago has died.
Fifty-one-year-old John Paul Jones was admitted to hospital in the southern province of Surat Thani, about 400 kilometres south of Bangkok, on April 12.
Doctors discovered more than 60 condoms inside his stomach, containing about 800 grams of hashish.
Several of the condoms had leaked.
Doctors say he died of septicemia and liver failure
