Customs officials have found $11 million worth of drugs hidden inside a consignment of massage chairs and foot spas in Sydney.
Twenty-seven kilograms of cocaine and another 27 kilograms of methamphetamine, or 'ice', were found in a shipping container transported from Canada on May 5.
A 40-year-old Melbourne man and a 32-year-old Canadian woman have been charged with drug-related offences.
The maximum penalty for the offences is $825,000 and/or life imprisonment.
Customs officials say their collaboration with Canadian Customs was crucial in detecting the shipment.
